Are there any specific traits that you’ll be looking for during selection?
These are several traits that we look out for:
- Excellent communication and listening skills
- The ability to analyse and research information
- Motivation to meet targets
- Good negotiation skills

It will be a plus if you had an interest in financial products and markets.
What kind of remuneration can I expect if I’m selected?
We encourage entrepreneurship by providing full commissions and additional quarterly bonuses. We will assist suitable candidates in their start-ups by giving monthly allowances of $1,500 to $6,000 up and above their commissions and bonuses in their first 12 months. Recurring commissions and bonuses will kick in from 13th month onwards.
Are there any basic requirements for this career?
- Degree/Diploma in any discipline. Preferably in the Finance or Marketing field.
- Certifications in CMFAS Modules 5, 9 and 9A will be of advantage.
- Experience in Fundamental and Technical Analysis of investments will be an advantage.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Team player, who is committed and self-driven, with the ability to respond positively to client request for assistance.
- Ability to conduct seminars and workshops.
- Must be a Singaporean Citizen or Permanent Resident

Is it a must to upload my resume when applying on this website?
At Alliance, we place a strong emphasis on character and attitude. When hiring Advisors, these are assessed before paperwork and qualifications. Here is how we go about selecting suitable candidates:

1) Phone interview
2) If requirements met, face to face interview
3) If all is well, hire candidate

Hence, uploading your resume when applying here is optional although it will improve your chances of landing the initial phone interview.
I'm on mobile and there does not seem to be the option to upload my resume?
In most mobile devices, they do not support file uploads. And with reference to the previous question - Uploading you resume is optional although it will improve your chances of getting the initial phone interview.

What kind of clients can I expect to serve?
Quite a wide variety, from individuals to private corporations and government institutions.
Do I need to have experience and qualifications in finance to apply?
It is preferred that you have a Diploma or Degree in Finance, but not absolutely necessary. More importantly, you possess the traits listed in the first question of this FAQ.
Can I join Alliance Organisation on a part time basis?
As with any other career in this sector, you will need to be fully committed. Hence, joining on a part time basis is out of the question.
Will interns that meet the basic requirements be considered?
Interns that have the aptitude for a role in Wealth Management will be considered for positions to understudy our Advisors.
I’ve submitted my application, now what?
Sit back and relax, we will respond within 1-2 weeks. It is important to note though, that a response will only be given to shortlisted candidates.
What is the turnover rate like in Alliance Organisation?
To give you an idea, approximately 80% of our Advisers have stayed with Alliance for 5 years or more.
